Madrone Trail Public Charter School in Southern Oregon is seeking 2 Waldorf Early Childhood Teachers to teach a mixed age kindergarten class for the 2022-2023 School Year (4-6 year olds). We are pursuing candidates who have a deep understanding of Waldorf pedagogy, previous teaching experience, and who are committed to bringing Waldorf education to the public realm. As a Lead Teacher you will carry the responsibility for the pedagogical planning and activities, parent education and reports. Beyond school hours, teachers participate in faculty meetings, book study, and school committees.
Preferred Requirements:
Credentialed to work in an Oregon public school
Waldorf certified or actively pursuing Waldorf certification
Knowledgeable of child development, practical arts, sewing, finger knitting, singing, and puppetry
Skills for building collaborative relationships with parents and colleagues
The ability to create nurturing environments that support the needs of the young child
Dedicated to the principles of public Waldorf Education
