This is a rare and unique opportunity to do rewarding work for a profoundly appreciative community rooted in warmth, support, diversity, and nature. Threefold Village is seeking a first grade teacher for our growing 2022-2023 enrichment year program. This position is a part-time position.


We are seeking an experienced individual passionate about Waldorf education and Anthroposophy. Applicants must be Waldorf Certified or enrolled in a Waldorf Teacher Training. Experience in the classroom and managing parent relationships are essential to the success of our community. Lastly, being an excellent communicator and collaborator is imperative. 


Threefold Village is a non-profit organization with a mission committed to cultivating and nurturing an inclusive form of Waldorf pedagogy within the diverse homeschool community of Los Angeles, California. We support parents, families, and educators. One of the biggest challenges homeschoolers face is a consistent and connected community. We help overcome this challenge by offering Waldorf-centric enrichment services and specialty courses in subjects or formats that aren’t possible in the home.


Minimum Qualifications *Experience teaching Waldorf Pedagogy (Not necessarily in a school or institution)

*Waldorf Certified or enrolled in Waldorf Teacher’s Training program

*Ability to manage students, classroom, and parent relationships

*Excellent Communicator

*Actively studying or interested in Anthroposophy/Foundational Studies

*Willingness to undergo a background check and fingerprinting

*Excellent Collaborator – Must be a team player/Servant leadership
 
 *Bring beauty and inspiration to the Waldorf curriculum


Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor or Master’s degree
• Waldorf Certified
• CPR trained
• Experience managing a classroom
• Experience managing parent relationships
