The Nelson Waldorf School is seeking a Class Teacher for Grade 1!

The beautiful West Kootenay Mountains and Kootenay Lake invite to year round outdoor adventures such as hiking, skiing, boating, swimming, fishing and mountain biking. Our rich and diverse Arts communities include galleries, dance companies, choirs, and theatre performances.The local Selkirk College has a world renown music department that attracts many globally based musicians.

Professional development is part of our annual rhythm. Teachers participate in both on-site sessions and travel to larger Waldorf centres across North America.

Hold a Teacher Regulation Branch teaching certificate or be eligible for certification,
Be Waldorf trained or willing to participate in Waldorf training (training opportunities available),
Eligible to work in Canada.
