Sanderling Waldorf School—located in sunny Southern California and ideally situated between LA and San Diego—is welcoming applications for Class Teacher of the 1st grade. A lovely, rising 1st-grade class is ready for its new teacher to shepherd them through the 8th grade.

Our diverse, energetic, and collegial faculty look forward to having you work with us at our palm tree lined school and minutes from beaches and field trip/camping possibilities galore. We are an established Waldorf school: 22 years old and fully accredited.

Our ideal candidate will possess at least a Bachelor’s degree and Waldorf teaching/training experience. We are located close to WISC, an established and highly recognized Waldorf teacher training institute. Of course, it is expected that you would have a deep love for and devotion to children and are willing to work collaboratively with parents, colleagues, and our close-knit community.

Your children would enjoy tuition remission at our nursery through 8th-grade school and its full Waldorf curriculum, and also at our sister school, the San Diego Waldorf School, which has a thriving and well-established high school.
