Enrollment Coordinator

The Enrollment Coordinator is of vital importance to the Eugene Waldorf School. They bear witness to the life of the school and help to make it visible to others. This position is a public “face” of the school, and represents the school at events and meetings both within and without the school community. A desire to further the mission of the Eugene Waldorf School must be the basis of the Enrollment Coordinator’s work. As an active member of the Administrative Team, this position works in tandem with the Faculty Chair in all aspects of the enrollment process. The Enrollment Coordinator gives feedback regularly to the College of Teachers in matters relating to student and family school experience, program offerings and student retention. This position is directly supervised by the Business Manager and also reports to the Board of Trustees twice per year with updates on enrollment and upon request.
Qualifications and Skills:
A comprehensive knowledge of Waldorf Education and be able to effectively and warmly communicate that to others.
Strength in written and verbal communication and the ability to communicate well with children and adults
Ability to be outgoing, work with varied personalities and advocate for enrollment sustaining practices at the school.
Strong computer skills: basic knowledge of or ability to train on Google Workspace, WordPress, Database Management, Social Media platforms, basic budget management.
Proficient with mathematical calculations (including working with money)
The ability to write and edit well
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to operate a multi-line phone system
Ability to work well with frequent interruptions
Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
Strong time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team using a consensus-based decision making process and a strong commitment to personal responsibility is essential. A background in education, marketing, public relations and knowledge of graphic design software is a plus, but not required. Previous connection to EWS or another Waldorf school is preferred.
