We are a newer charter school (2022-23 will be our 4th year) and are committed to collaborative work in Steiner's principles. We have specialty lessons in Spanish, Games, Handwork and Strings for our grade school students. This year we have been actively working with the book Grading for Equity and Curative Education. We have a diverse student body and hope to diversify our teaching staff.
We are currently looking for a teacher to take on 3rd grade, either on a part time basis, or, perhaps, in combination with the 4th grade. There are many creative ways we can see the year shaping up and are looking for someone who is flexible and energetic. We have needs in the areas of woodwork, gardening, music and more. Our salary schedule is competitive, with benefits, and our location is within walking distance to Huntington Beach Central Park, where one can find ducks, geese, playgrounds, trees to climb, and small hills to roll down.
