Early Child Lead Teacher
Mar 31 2022 | Eastside Community School | Issaquah, WA
Early Child Lead Teacher
Bring your enthusiasm for the students, for the curriculum, and for working in partnership with a thriving faculty and an internationally diverse parent community.
Founded in 1995 as Three Cedar s Waldorf School, the legacy continues as Eastside Community School located in the city of Issaquah, 30 minutes east of Seattle. We seek an Early Childhood (EC) Teacher to lead either Preschool or Kindergarten, depending on candidate’s experience. The ideal candidate possesses an interest in Waldorf education and a desire to work closely with an established Preschool – Grade 10 school that meets Washington State requirements for independent schools. The EC faculty circle works collaboratively and seeks a colleague who can work in the same supportive vein with creativity, initiative, warmth, flexibility and a sense of humor.
With both the stability of an established community, and the fresh pioneer spirit of a relatively new Board and location, we find ourselves in a unique position of being able to draw on the strength of the past, and to ask ourselves what it truly means to be a Waldorf school at this particular juncture in human history.
Qualifications
• Training or experience working in Early Child education, preferably Waldorf
• Interest in Waldorf Education
