Santa Cruz Waldorf School is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic Eurythmist to teach two blocks from preschool through 8th-grade for the 2022-2023 school year. The duration of the position also includes producing one student evening performance in the spring after completion of both blocks and leading 15 minutes of eurythmy with faculty during weekly faculty meetings. Candidates must have completed full eurythmy training.

Our school is nestled in a magnificent redwood forest between the west side of Santa Cruz and Bonny Doon. We are only 10 minutes away from town and the beach. Our program includes gardening, handwork, eurythmy, Spanish, music, art, woodwork, and a games curriculum. An experienced faculty and staff along with a supportive board are actively working to further the development of this dynamic school.

Our School is a full member of and accredited by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. We are also fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Santa Cruz Waldorf School offers a wide variety of events, workshops, and speakers. The anthroposophical work in Santa Cruz is supported by an active branch and a Camphill Community. Santa Cruz is a university town, located on the beautiful central coast of California, and is blessed with a temperate climate of mild winters and mild summers, plus the artistic and cultural life of a much larger city. Recreational opportunities nearby include hiking, mountain biking, surfing, and kayaking.
