The Waldorf School of Limassol in Cyprus is growing fast and looking for an experienced kindergarten lead teacher.

The island of Cyprus is an EU member state located on the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea. Rich in culture and history, it has a diverse geography that includes both mountains and beaches, and a climate that boasts an average of 330 days of sunshine a year. Our school is located in Limassol, a modern cosmopolitan city by the sea hosting over 60 nationalities and providing plenty of opportunities for recreation. There are two international airports less than one hour away with many inexpensive flights to destinations in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.

Our school was founded in 2017 by a group of international parents seeking a comprehensive Waldorf education in Cyprus for their children. It was further developed by experienced teachers from the US, UK, South Africa, Poland, and Russia. Our school currently serves over 120 children from kindergarten to Class 7, and we will continue expanding until we are K-12.

We are in the process of planning our new school campus on a beautiful 50,000 m2 site that will include kindergartens, elementary and high schools, an international boarding school, and accommodation for teachers. This is a great opportunity to join a growing school on the cusp of a major turning point.

Applicants must be Waldorf- trained with lead teacher classroom experience in the kindergarten. Cyprus regulations also require applicants to have a university degree in education and the ability to pass a background check. EU passport and/or knowledge of the Russian language are advantageous qualities, but not required.
