Spring Garden Waldorf School is seeking a Grades Class teacher to join our faculty beginning in the 2022-2023 school year.
We value excellent teaching and classroom management skills, as well as a deep understanding of child development. We also seek a colleague committed to building strong collegial and parent relationships, and one who is committed to self-development. The ideal candidate will have a Waldorf Teacher Training certificate and experience as a lead classroom teacher, preferably in a Waldorf school. Qualified candidates must also have a bachelor’s degree.

Spring Garden Waldorf School was founded in 1981 and is an accredited member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. SGWS serves 170 students from Pre-K through Grade 8. Spring Garden is located on 12 rural acres near Akron, Ohio and a short drive to Cleveland. We offer a full Waldorf curriculum, including handwork, woodwork, instrumental and choral music, Spanish, games/movement, and gardening.
The Great Lakes Region of Northeast Ohio offers unsurpassed educational and medical facilities. It is home to Summit County and Cleveland Metro parks, the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and excellent cultural opportunities including the Cleveland Orchestra, Playhouse Square, and many outstanding museums.
