High Mowing School is searching for Educational Support Teacher for 2022-23.

About the Position
High Mowing School is now accepting applications for an enthusiastic and experienced Educational Support teacher. A trained remedial teacher, they care about the sensory, emotional, and educational challenges many students experience, understand IEPs and know how to serve students who need accommodations in a Waldorf way. Working closely with our Educational Support Coordinator, they deliver healing remedial education to students primarily in grades 1–8, with possible crossover to the high school population.

Qualifications
Our preferred candidate is an experienced teacher trained in Waldorf education and/or remedial/curative education. Creative and enthusiastic, they enjoy working with a team of colleagues. They seek a school with a strong vision, energetic colleagues, and clear leadership. They are able to solve problems with discernment while maintaining confidentiality of student, familial, and organizational information. They seek a challenging yet supportive, home-like school environment where they can grow professionally and personally. Initiative, dependability, and a strong inclination for collaboration are key attributes to the success of the candidate.

Requirements
—Graduate degree and/or Waldorf teaching certificate
—Organized, dependable, punctual
—Able to work collaboratively

Compensation
The compensation for the position includes:
—Salary commensurate with experience
—Health, dental, life, LTD
—Tuition remission 90%
