Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten is seeking Lead and Assistant Teachers for our 2022 Summer Camp. We are ideally seeking candidates who have Waldorf teaching experience and/or Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher training. Qualified candidates have their Early Childhood Professional III, Credential 2.0 per the Colorado Department of Human Services as well as some level of Waldorf Early Childhood or Lifeways background.

We offer three three-week Summer Camp sessions. Ideally, our staff is consistent for the entire summer, although, we are open to different staff in each session.

The 2022 Summer Camp dates are:

Session I: June 20 – July 8
Session II: July 11 – 29
Session III: August 1 – 19

Details about our three Summer Camp Staff openings are as follows:

Morning Lead
8:00am – 1:00pm (Contact Hours are 8:30am – 12:30pm)
Pay – $30, with full Waldorf training or $25, without the training

Morning Assistant*
8:00am – 1:00pm (Contact Hours are 8:30am – 12:30pm)
Pay – $20/hour

Afternoon Teacher*
12:15pm – 3:45pm (Contact Hours are 12:30pm – 3:30pm)
Pay – $20/hour

*These positions can be combined.

Teachers who work all three sessions will receive 3 paid days off during the summer camp.

Our summer camps are held primarily outside on our beautiful play yard with animals and gardens. This year’s summer camp will have up to 18 children per day, ages 3 years to 6 years.

Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten and Preschool is an Early Childhood center serving ages 12 months through 6 years. We have three Preschool/KG classrooms and one Lifeways (Toddler) classroom and a full summer camp program. We are situated on a beautiful one+ acre farm with chickens, goats, rabbits, biodynamic and organic gardens and fruit trees. Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten, founded in 1998, is a full member of WECAN and serves approximately 60 children each year.
