Based in the heart of Sea to Sky Country, SWS offers an inclusive, values-based community and the opportunity to help nurture students in a premier pre-K to Grade 8 Waldorf School where student experience is at the centre of our holistic education.
Candidates must be organized, flexible, creative, and interested in Waldorf philosophy and pedagogy. Duties include lesson planning, delivering BC curriculum and Waldorf curriculum in a Waldorf School setting, student assessment and reporting, effective classroom management, meeting with parents and participating in the festival and collegial life of the school.
Professional requirements include a valid BC teaching certificate and a minimum two years classroom teaching experience. Preferred candidates will have Waldorf teaching experience, certification, and/or training.
Salary range is between $43,000 and 64,000, and our benefits package includes tuition benefits for enrolled children, extended health and dental.
