Position: Waldorf Teacher/Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a Waldorf Teacher/Assistant Teacher (Part-time & Full-Time). The teacher will instruct the class and run the daily rhythm for children between the ages of 3-6. We welcome all applicants, but the ideal teacher will have a thorough understanding of the Waldorf pedagogy, a strong commitment to the Waldorf lifestyle, and strong classroom management skills.

Waldessori Schoolhouse is a private 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We are minutes away from Historic Downtown McKinney in a quiet residential area on about an acre of land. Our large shaded trees are the perfect place for the children to experience nature, work and dig in our organic garden, build bonds with classmates, and engage in free play. Inside the school, there is a split setting where a full Montessori classroom and waldorf-inspired classroom are visited at various inbreaths and outbreaths of the day.

The ideal candidate:
Has at least 1+ year teaching (or assistant teaching) in (preferably) a Waldorf setting
Familiarity with gentle parenting/conscious discipline
Knowledge of (and interest in) Waldorf practices
Holistic Lifestyle
