3-Day Pre-K Teacher
Mar 07 2022 | Aurora Waldorf School | West Falls, NY (near Buffalo)
AWS is currently accepting applications for a part-time Pre-K Teacher. Due to increased enrollment applications, we are opening a second multi-age Pre-K with a maximum of 12 students for the 2022-23 academic year. Contingent on enrollment, this 1-year position, July 2022 - June 2023, could be extended additional years.
This class will meet Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 am - 12:15 pm. Hours for the Pre-K Teacher will be 7:45 am–3:00 pm, Tuesday through Thursday, with occasional weeknight or weekend work for parent meetings and school activities. Additionally, there are weekly meetings and workdays. Faculty workdays are at the end of August 2022 and mid-June 2023. School begins in September 2022 and ends in June 2023.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, current First Aid and CPR certification, Early Childhood experience, and Waldorf Early Childhood training or the willingness to attend training upon hire.
We seek candidates with a deep love for children, respect for parents, healthy initiative, the desire to engage in self-development, excellent written and oral communication skills, musical and artistic abilities, and the ability to be a team player.
As a part-time salaried, in-person, school-year position, benefits include partial tuition remission.
