EARLY CHILDHOOD - ASSISTANT TEACHER

Apple Blossom Waldorf School & Family Center is seeking an Early Childhood assistant teacher for the 2022-23 school year. This is a part time, hourly position in our Nursery or Kindergarten classroom with children ages 18 months- 6 years old. As our school is growing there is room to grow professionally as well.
Qualifications: A warm and open disposition with the ability to care for children of mixed ages. Eagerness to learn about Apple Blossom and Waldorf education. Waldorf training and experience preferred, but not required.
Requirements: The ability to meet Connecticut OEC licensing requirements including yearly professional development, as well as to pass a CT criminal background check. To be able to lift and carry small children during caregiving times.
Apple Blossom Waldorf School and Family Center is a full member of WECAN, located in Wilton, Connecticut, “a lovely piece of heaven in a bustling world.” In it’s 17th year the School and Family Center is expanding and moving to a larger facility down the road.
