For the fall of 2022, the Whatcom Hills Waldorf School in Bellingham, WA is seeking a full-time, Waldorf-trained, Grade 4 class teacher for a vibrant class community.
Whatcom Hills is a fully accredited member of AWSNA and WECAN, serving around 190 students from nursery through the eighth grade. Our students benefit from the wide range of specialty programs we offer, including Handwork, Woodwork, Eurythmy, Language, Gardening, Movement and Music. Our ideal candidate has previous experience as a Waldorf educator, an interest in working collaboratively, and a commitment to the ideals of Waldorf education.
On the shores of Bellingham Bay with Mount Baker as its backdrop, Bellingham is the last major city before the Washington coastline meets the Canadian border. The City of Bellingham, which serves as the county seat of Whatcom County, is situated at the center of a uniquely picturesque area offering a rich variety of recreational, cultural, educational and economic activities. Qualifications: Waldorf teacher training or equivalent experience, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
