Ocean Charter School (OCS) uses a Waldorf Educational approach to teach common core standards in a public school setting. Our TK-8 grade campus is located on the Westside of Los Angeles in Del Rey, California.

We are accepting applications for a Grade One teaching position for the 2022-2023 school year and we welcome like-minded individuals interested in Waldorf Education to apply. OCS teachers practice looping, where they move with their class through the grades and remain teaching the same students for multiple years. OCS offers summer training to prepare teachers for the upcoming school year, a Waldorf Certification program, as well as additional professional development opportunities, mentoring, and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications for Teachers:
1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
3. EL Authorization
4. BCLAD Authorization
5. Other credentials meeting ESSA "Highly-qualified" criteria
6. Waldorf Teaching Certificate (or commitment to obtain certification)
7. Experience in Waldorf Kindergarten teaching preferred
