Ocean Charter School (OCS) is a Public Waldorf School using a Waldorf approach to teach common core standards in a public school setting. We are accepting applications for Kindergarten teaching positions for the 2022-2023 school year and we welcome like-minded individuals interested in Waldorf Education to apply. Kindergarten classes are mixed age groupings with Transitional Kindergarteners and Kindergarteners in the same class together. Our Kindergarten is a two-year developmental program and Kindergarten teachers typically remain teaching in the Kindergarten.

OCS offers summer training to prepare teachers for the upcoming school year as well as additional professional development opportunities, mentoring, and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications for Teachers:
1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
3. EL Authorization
4. BCLAD Authorization
5. Other credentials meeting ESSA "Highly-qualified" criteria
6. Waldorf Teaching Certificate (or commitment to obtain certification)
7. Experience in Waldorf Kindergarten teaching preferred
