Yuba River Charter School is a thriving Waldorf Methods Charter School, with approximately 300 students in Grades K through 8. We are located in Grass Valley, in the picturesque Sierra Nevada Foothills of California. BEGINNING: 2022 - 2023 School Year
SALARY & BENEFITS: Base salary: placement based on years of experience ranging from $50,796 - $58,344, plus $1,000 Waldorf Certification and $500 Master’s degree. Benefits include STRS,
Health & Welfare package for employee and family. Training and mentoring funds
available.
REQUIRED: California State Teaching Credential. Ability to provide an educational program for pupils in grade taught, to teach the California State Standards as integrated into a Waldorf curriculum, and to work cooperatively with colleagues with shared adjunct duties. The
candidate will have the desire and ability to teach the whole child according to a Waldorf methods curriculum.
QUALIFICATIONS: Waldorf training or willingness to undergo training. Patience, punctuality, conscientious
work, dependability. Successful applicant must agree to background check and
fingerprinting, as well as TB test.
