First Grades Class Teacher
Second/Third Class Teacher (small combo)

Hummingbirds’ Collaborative School is seeking experienced and enthusiastic grades teacher candidates for the 2022-23 school year. We are looking to fill our first grade class teacher position and our 2nd/3rd grade combined class teacher position. Both of these are smaller classes with many students who have attended Hummingbirds’ since preschool. The Class Teacher will have the support of a part-time assistant teacher, reading specialist, and several subject teachers.

We are seeking like-minded colleagues who are passionate, bring joy into their excellence in teaching, and are committed to collegial collaboration.

Preferred requirements:
-Certificate of Completion in Waldorf Teaching
-Bachelor's degree
-Previous Waldorf class teaching experience

-strong classroom management skills and a commitment to professionalism.
-positive communication skills with parents.
-an ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and Child Abuse Reference Check (CAIC) background clearance.
