Unique Position for a Uniquely Talented Teacher

Rose Rock School, located in Norman, Oklahoma, is searching for a multi-talented, flexible, and capable individual to fill multiple roles within our Lifeways flagship program, administration, and/or developing grade school program. The successful applicant will demonstrate experience, cultivation of ability, and creativity in at least two of the following roles:
Administrative
Early childhood
Grade school, especially block teaching
Foreign language
Gardening
Eurythmy
Strings/orchestra

This presumably full-time position will be tailor-made to fit the successful candidate’s skillset. Alternately, interested applicants who possess only one of the mentioned skill sets are welcome to apply for a part-time position.

Can strike a balance between the joy and challenge of establishing new programs, while adapting to the high-quality programming that has already been established at RRS.
Be willing to engage in intensive study and contemplation vis-a-vis book study and child study, so as to be empowered towards authentic understanding of the developing children with which we work.
Actively practices self-reflection and self-improvement.


Pay and Hours: To be determined based on teacher’s experience. Teachers are compensated for contact hours and planning. 10% tuition discount is available for teachers with students enrolled at RRS. Full-time employees enjoy annual contributions to a Health Reimbursement Arrangement.

Pedagogy
