The Living Arts School, Boulder’s folk school, is seeking a Summer Camp Lead Counselor for our Children’s Folk Arts-based Summer Camp (ages 7-12). We are seeking someone with the following skills/attributes:

-Steady and calm, with a deep love of nature (our camp is entirely outside)
-Kind and warm with a love for children and prior, relevant experience with children
-Gifted in making things, our program is focused on folk arts, crafts and traditional living skills
-An interest in planning circle, collaborative, group games for outdoors and indoors, crafts and projects
-Fun! With a love for including everyone and creative problem-solving
-Must be masterful with groups of children, helping all to feel successful, with a non-competitive focus
-Strong, able to pull a wagon on uneven terrain, comfortable being in and near a creek

The position will be Monday-Friday, 8am-3:30pm on private land off of the Anne U White Trail in Boulder.

Schedule: 11 weeks of summer camp, May 31-August 12
Pay: $22-26/hr, dependent upon experience
