Grade School Coordinator
Feb 16 2022 | Emerson Waldorf School | Chapel Hill, North Carolina
The Emerson Waldorf School is seeking an experienced Grade School Coordinator to join our staff on July 1, 2022. We are looking for an experienced coordinator with Waldorf school experience who understands best practices in education and administration and has the vision and strategic abilities to build on the strong foundations of our grade school administrative structure.
The Grade School Coordinator reports to the Director of Pedagogy and Administration and is accountable for overseeing the day-to-day running of the grade school, which includes the Grades After School program (including Athletics) and the Grades Educational Support program. The coordinator also supports all scheduling, event planning, faculty hiring and assessments, student safety, and parent relations. As a member of the school’s Grade School Leadership Team and the All School Leadership Team, the coordinator works in a collaborative and consultative manner with the school’s faculty and staff to support the mission, vision, and values of the Emerson Waldorf School.
Salary and Benefits: The salary range is commensurate with experience. The benefits package includes medical insurance. Tuition remission is provided for full-time faculty/staff children.
About the Emerson Waldorf School: Emerson Waldorf is a dual-accredited, well-established school with a rich program. We are located on a 54-acre wooded campus and farm set on the outskirts of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in the vibrant Research Triangle area. Within this diverse region, our campus is in a small rural and residential area adjacent to the 700-acre Duke Forest nature preserve. Our setting provides a rural atmosphere with the cultural advantages of a city. We serve students from preschool through high school and, in our working together, we actively promote a professional culture of communication, collaboration, and professional and personal development.
Emerson Waldorf School has a deep commitment to creating an inclusive community that values diversity and multiculturalism, and we seek candidates who have this same commitment. If you would like to join our exceptional faculty and staff, please email a resume and cover letter, and three references to:
