Grade School Eurythmy Teacher
Feb 16 2022 | Emerson Waldorf School | Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Emerson Waldorf School is seeking a Eurythmy teacher to join our grade school faculty and our thriving eurythmy program, beginning in the 2022-23 school year.
We welcome all applications. Our ideal candidate is an experienced Waldorf Eurythmy teacher who has solid, demonstrated skills working with grade school students and the ability to work with diverse neurological needs, as well as a deep understanding of the Waldorf pedagogy and a serious lifelong commitment to anthroposophy and education. We need a strong, professional teacher who is interested in joining our efforts toward school innovation in the areas of diversity and equity, ready to help reimagine our Waldorf school to create a more inclusive and equitable school program and environment. The successful candidate will have pedagogical training and an Eurythmy diploma recognized by the Goetheanum. Mentoring is available as needed from current eurythmy teacher, Christina Beck, who will be stepping back next year.
We are looking for the candidate who best suits our students and our community, and who best aligns with our school’s strategic priorities.
If you would like to join our exceptional faculty, please email a resume, cover letter, and three references to Therisa Pienaar at tpienaar@emersonwaldorf.org.
