Pedagogical Chair
Feb 08 2022 | Camellia Waldorf School | Sacramento, CA
Camellia Waldorf School seeks applicants for a Pedagogical Chair.
We are looking for candidates with Waldorf teaching experience, training, and a strong relationship with anthroposophy. Experience with school administration would also be of help. The position of Pedagogical Chair at Camellia is established so that anyone coming into the position will meet clear expectations from the faculty and administration. At the same time, the right person will bring energy and vision to contribute toward exploring how Waldorf education can better meet the challenges of our contemporary age.
Up to now, the position has been part-time, but the school is hoping to increase the hours, possibly to full-time. The Pedagogical Chair works closely with faculty to ensure the integrity of a living experience of Waldorf education in the classroom and to support teachers in their relationships with the families in their class. The Pedagogical Chair also works closely with the School Director to assist in keeping communication lines open and transparent and help create and maintain policies for the school.
The Camellia community is warm and welcoming, combining strong heart forces with a practical organization. We strive for diversity, and we celebrate one another. To learn more about our school, please visit our website www.camelliawaldorf.org.
To apply, please send a resume, a letter of intent, a short biography, and three professional references to jobs@camelliawaldorf.org.
