Music Teacher

Malamalama Waldorf School is accredited by AWSNA, WECAN, HAIS, and WASC. Our beautiful school seeks a part-time Music Teacher with experience in music theory, singing, and recorder (ukulele a plus), for 7-9 hours per week teaching grades First through Eighth.
Our inspiring faculty are enthusiastic with a commitment to Waldorf education delivered with warmth and through collaboration. Our other dedicated Specialty Subject teachers provide Movement, Hawaiian Studies and Language, Japanese language, and handwork.
Classroom management a must.
Start date: August 16, 2022; will consider hire for the remainder of SY2021/2022.
We seek to hire an individual that is self-directed, creative, artistic, collaborative, knowledgeable of and committed to Waldorf education and Anthroposophy.
We offer a competitive hourly wage based on education and experience and a benefits package, including support for professional development and remission for dependant(s).
