Whistler Waldorf School is seeking an experienced High School Principal to join our school July 2022 or sooner. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Grades 8-12 faculty and programs.
A warm, authentic, and collaborative leader, the next High School Principal will be an experienced school leader with strong Waldorf as well as other educational experience, understand best practices in education and administration and have the vision and strategic abilities to build on the strong foundations of our High School.
The successful candidate will share the values which unite our community and our commitment to advancing lifelong learning, appreciation for the environment, diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectful, supportive relationships.
Role Summary
The Principal of the High School serves as the day-to-day leader of the Whistler Waldorf High School (Grade 8 to Grade 12). The High School Principal reports to the Executive Director and is accountable for upholding the legal, pedagogical requirements for operating a Waldorf school in the province of British Columbia, including but not limited to curriculum planning, delivery, assessment of learning, progress reporting, student safety and parent relations. As a member of the school leadership team, the High School Principal works in a collaborative and consultative manner with the school stakeholders to support the mission, vision and values of the Whistler Waldorf School.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position that will begin July 2022 or sooner.
