Middle School Math Teacher
The Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork is seeking a math specialty teacher to work in our middle school grades for the 2022-2023 school year and beyond. This position is designed to teach our math program in sixth, seventh and eighth grades, along with several middle school blocks.
We are looking for someone with a background in math and/or science that has a passion for working with middle school students and committed to upholding the integrity of our strong middle school math program. Waldorf teaching experience is desired, but not required.
The Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork (WSRF) is located in the Rocky Mountains of Western Colorado close to Aspen. We are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year with a dedicated faculty, robust student body, supportive board and a comprehensive preschool through 8th grade Waldorf curriculum.
Our school sits on 13 acres adjacent to the beautiful Roaring Fork River in the Roaring Fork River Valley, where the community enjoys a multitude of outdoor recreational opportunities year-round. Our faculty works cooperatively and collaboratively together within a greater community that is progressive and has a small town feel while benefiting from the multi-faceted cultural opportunities of Aspen and surrounding towns.
We offer a strong benefits package, competitive salary and tuition remission for eligible employees. WSRF is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, religious affiliation or sexual orientation.
If interested in applying please send contact John Moffitt, Faculty Administrator, at john@waldorfschoolrf.org or call us at 970-963-1960.
