Early Childhood Educational Support Specialist

Maine Coast Waldorf School is looking for a qualified candidate to join our school in support of our Early Childhood branch. This position is approximately 2.5 hours per week that will include observing classrooms and meeting with our early childhood faculty to discuss observations and offer consultation to strengthen the program. The position pays $31.14 per hour and is not benefits-eligible.

The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a Master’s preferable.
Formal training in Waldorf early childhood/lower grades remedial (Extra Lesson) education
Knowledge of and experience working in a Waldorf early childhood setting
Experience in observing and assessing behaviors and implementing interventions in an early childhood classroom setting
