Grade 1 Teacher

The Whatcom Hills Waldorf School in Bellingham, WA is seeking a full-time, Waldorf-trained, class teacher for the fall of 2022 to embark on the journey through the grades with our new first grade class.
We are an AWSNA full member PreK - 8th Grade school with a wide range of programs including Handwork, Woodwork, Eurythmy, Language, Movement and Music. Our ideal candidate would have experience working in Waldorf schools, enjoy healthy collegial relationships, and be committed to the ideals of Waldorf education and our thriving school’s mission and goals.
On the shores of Bellingham Bay with Mount Baker as its backdrop, Bellingham is the last major city before the Washington coastline meets the Canadian border. The City of Bellingham, which serves as the county seat of Whatcom County, is at the center of a uniquely picturesque area offering a rich variety of recreational, cultural, educational and economic activities. Qualifications: Waldorf teacher training or equivalent experience, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Our salary includes increments for Waldorf training and years of experience. Benefits include medical insurance, tuition remission, mentoring and financial support for professional development.
