Summer Early Childhood Lead Positions

We are currently seeking excellent candidates who are interested in teaching this summer in our early childhood Kinderhaus program serving children ages 2 ½ to 7.
Our school is located on beautiful 13 acres with river access. The ideal candidates will have a love for nature and children, are interested in exploring the outdoors together with the children, express warmth and compassion in working with children and adults, and are excited about offering a loving, safe, and fun summer camp experience.
We have lead teaching as well as assistant teaching positions available.
Lead early childhood teachers will have the responsibility of developing an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum as well as organizing the supplies needed. They will care for the children’s physical, emotional, social, intellectual as well as spiritual development and well-being.
Candidates for lead teaching positions will be certified early childhood teachers by the State of Colorado, will be 1st Aid/CPR certified, and ideally have a Waldorf teaching background.
All candidates must meet the State of Colorado licensing requirements, which includes passing background checks, including finger printing.
Our Summer Program will be offered six weeks, starting June 13 through July 29. It will not be offered the week of July 4. Program hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
Compensation:
Lead early childhood teacher: $1,800/week
