Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

The Rudolf Steiner School seeks a colleague to join the early childhood department who brings experience and enthusiasm for working with young children, ages 2-6. Strong candidates will possess a Waldorf Early Childhood teacher training and will have teaching experience, ideally in a Waldorf school setting. As a member of the Early Childhood faculty, the assistant teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues on a daily basis and in regular departmental, all-school faculty, and parent meetings.
Responsibilities include supporting the Lead teacher in all classroom activities: snack preparation, maintaining the classroom space and co-leading the afternoon program. Hours are 7:30 – 3:30 M-F.
