First Grade

1st grade teacher

Chrysalis, a young, Waldorf inspired school is seeking a first grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.
The ideal candidate carries Waldorf Teacher Training and/or experience, is knowledgeable in, or open to, the world view of Anthroposophy, and to the inner world of Waldorf inspired teaching and way of life. They will be willing to collaborate with mentors and colleagues. An artistic and pioneering spirit would also contribute to the continued growth of our school.
Chrysalis School began in the Summer of 2020 as a homeschool co-operative with six first graders and six kindergarten children. In the current year, 21 students participate within a community that supports medical freedoms, and without restrictions or fear. Our school is located in Eastern Pennsylvania, outside the vibrant city of Philadelphia with its rich history, culture and food scene.
Compensation is open to discussion, tuition reduction is offered for children of teachers, up to third grade. If you are interested in applying with Chrysalis, please contact us at educatetheminlove@protonmail.com
