The Susquehanna Waldorf School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Waldorf teacher as the Class Teacher for our rising first grade class.

Our ideal candidate has experience teaching elementary school, with preference given to Waldorf teaching experience.  SWS is considering looping models for this class (first through eighth or potentially shorter loops).

Our teacher will be dedicated to Waldorf pedagogy, bring a confident classroom presence and have considerable collegial capacities and parent relationship skills.

Compensation package includes medical and dental coverage and tuition remission for full-time faculty children.

Our students benefit from a medley of programs that include Mandarin, Latin, Eurythmy, Music, Orchestra, Woodworking and Fiber Arts. Our school community celebrates seasonal festivals and holds family-centered activities year-round.

The Susquehanna Waldorf School is situated along the beautiful Susquehanna River in historic Marietta, Pennsylvania, which is within two hours of major cities such as Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Philadelphia.
