First Grade

Grade School Teacher

Our grade school program is entering its third year. Currently we have a combined one and two with rising first graders on the way. Our main lesson teacher is Waldorf trained with 13 years of experience and he will be continuing on. We hope to find a skillful colleague to help us grow the grade school program.
Charleston is a bit of a boom town with Volvo, Mercedes Benz, and Boeing all manufacturing their cars and jets here. The influx of highly educated workers has resulted in a stellar food scene, with all the cultural benefits of being a college town. The weather is lovely with hot summers and mild winters. The last week of December, while friends to the north were experiencing extreme cold, it was in the 70's here. We have about five days a year when the temperature drops below freezing.
