Kindergarten and Early Childhood

Lead Teacher for Cottage School of 6+ Children, 4-6yrs

We are a group of parents with roots in the Waldorf community looking to organize a cottage school in the 20022/23 school year and are looking for an early childhood teacher interested in leading a small group of children (around 6). If we get more interest, there could be the potential for a lead teacher and an assistant teacher, or to break into an EC group and a 1st grade group. Starting pay would be $25-30/hr and would likely be part-time, three days/week, about 5-6 hours/day, though there is the potential for five days/week.
The right candidate will be well-versed in Waldorf pedagogy, ideally have received Lifeways training or equivalent, be a peaceful, gentle influence, a lover of nature, of freedom, of wholesome food and be interested in enjoying the good life on the coast of Maine!
