Summer Camp Early Childhood Waldorf
Lead & Assistant Teacher

Lavender Hill Preschool is currently accepting applications for an Early Childhood Lead & Assistant Teacher for
the Summer 22.




Job Summary
Serve an Early Childhood Waldorf Class of twelve 2-6 year olds in nature.
To lead and/or assist in carrying out the classroom program and activities and in the classroom management and supervision of a class.
Provide nature based activities for the children as summer camp is a fully outdoor program.
To take direction from the Lead Teacher and/work cooperatively regarding classroom management and day-to-day responsibilities according to the principles of Waldorf Education
Assist with snack preparations, practical and artistic classroom activities and play time
Classroom preparation and upkeep
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Experience teaching or assisting in a Waldorf Early Childhood program, nature based program or other EC program.
Early Childhood Teacher Qualification from the Colorado Department of Human Services, Division of Child Care, Lifeways training or Waldorf certification a plus.
Assist in presenting seasonal songs, stories and puppetry.
Maintain general order, cleanliness and aesthetics in classroom and campus.


Lavender Hill Preschool is a Licensed Child Care Center located in SW Longmont. CPR training required.

Our program runs 5 days/week 8:30am-12:30pm. Three summer camp sessions. June 6th-24th. July 5th-22nd, August 1st-12th. Hours are 8am-1pm. You may apply for one or all.

Pay is competitive, based on experience and qualifications
