GRADES TEACHER NEEDED FOR FALL 2022

Friends of Willow Tree is seeking an experienced Class Teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Friends of Willow Tree offers a curriculum inspired by Waldorf methods to students who attend our program in grades Kindergarten through 8th. We have an active parent body, a supportive board of directors, and a committed faculty.

LOCATION
Our community will welcome you to our friendly village in North County San Diego. The town of Fallbrook has a lovely Waldorf community, biodynamic farms, study groups, and close proximity to WISC (Waldorf Institute of Southern California). Our program serves a diverse population that might not otherwise have access to a curriculum inspired by Waldorf methods.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an individual who possesses high expectations, a strong sense of personal accountability, a strong “teacherly” presence, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. We look to our teachers to lead not only the children but also the parents in their education. Our teacher’s goal is to help develop a strong community around our community that is supportive of a developmentally appropriate method of education.

QUALIFICATIONS
~ Bachelor’s Degree
~ Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
~ California Teaching Credential or Waldorf Teaching Certificate
~ Current TB test results (within the last 4 years)
~ CPR certified

START DATE:
August 2022
