High School

High School English/Drama Teacher 2022-2023

We are looking for a High School English Teacher for Grades 9 – 12.
Successful candidates will have a passion for literature, grammar, and drama (ideally).
Qualifications/Responsibilities
A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Ideally, candidates have received a Waldorf Teacher training certificate (or in process) and have some Waldorf teaching experience. The love of grammar and the ability to correct student papers is a must.
Responsibilities include teaching all grade levels (9-12) in English track and Main Lessons, along with cultivating the drama program. Other miscellaneous duties include helping with school sponsored events/festivals, chaperoning class trips, and possible sponsoring.
Salary
Salaries range commensurate with experience. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical and dental insurance, a 403(b)-retirement plan, vision, life and long-term disability insurance. Tuition remission is provided for full-time faculty children.
