Early Childhood Lead Teacher
Come join the teachers and staff at Mojave Springs School, dedicated to the Waldorf curriculum and located in the stunning Las Vegas Valley. Make history with us as we seed and root the Waldorf culture in one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in North America. We are currently hiring Waldorf certified and experienced teachers in our grades and our early childhood programs.
We are seeking an Early Childhood Lead Teacher for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Las Vegas, Nevada is rich in natural beauty and with nearly 300 days of sunshine the possibility to explore is abundant. Biking, rock climbing, hiking, and outdoor photography opportunities abound at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Mt Charleston offers winter sports and cool summer temperatures. Kayak, paddleboard, swim, and hike at Lake Mead or on the Colorado River. We are just hours away from a number of national parks, world famous ski resorts, and beautiful beaches.
Las Vegas offers an affordable cost of living and, transformed from its singular past, offers much for both families and personal growth. The Smith Center brings Broadway, world class symphonies, concerts, and speakers to Las Vegas. Diverse cuisine from around the globe can be found in Las Vegas’ historic neighborhoods. The following qualifications are considered:
- Waldorf Early Childhood Lead Teaching experience
- Waldorf trained or training in progress
- Bachelor’s degree
- familiarity with Anthroposophy
- willing mentee and/or mentor, depending on experience
- understanding of collaborative work
- supporting of colleagues
Salary competitive and commensurate with experience. Tuition Remission, 50/50 health insurance, PTO, and Professional Development offered.
