Early Childhood Lead Teacher Position

Berkeley Rose is seeking an Early Childhood Lead teacher for the 2022/23 academic school year. Successful candidates will enthusiastically engage our youngest children and work collaboratively with colleagues and the parent community to create an educational environment aligned with Waldorf pedagogy, our school mission and program goals. The ideal candidate will be a certified Waldorf teacher, have experience working with young children and be committed to collegial work, self-development, parent work, teaching to the whole human being and to open, direct communication with colleagues and parents. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Applicants applying for a position in our licensed nursery are required to have 12 qualifying early childhood education units obtained by their start date. Please note that ECE units can be obtained over the summer. Kindergarten applicants do not need ECE units.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Salary is dependent upon education and experience. Benefits offered include medical insurance, tuition remission, mentoring and professional development opportunities.
