We are seeking an afternoon lead teacher for our 6 year old kindergarten group from 11am-4pm, Monday through Friday. While 11am start time is ideal, we would entertain a later start time for the right candidate.
In our 6 year old Kindergarten group, we are focusing on the unique needs and capacities of the first grade ready Kindergartener. The afternoon consists of a lunch together with the AM lead teacher and the afternoon lead. At 12:30 the morning lead teacher departs and the afternoon lead teacher takes the group of 12 through the afternoon. Lunch is followed by a rest/quiet time where the children do handwork and listen to stories read by the teacher. The children's day ends outside on the playground, with pick up from 3:15-3:30. From 3:30-4pm this position closes out the room with cleaning in preparation for the next day.
