3rd Grade Substitute Teacher
Dec 17 2021 | Camellia Waldorf School | Sacramento, CA
Camellia Waldorf School’s third grade teacher will be on a family leave of absence this winter/spring, from approximately February-May 2022. We are searching to hire one or two substitute teachers for this three-month period for her lively, endearing class of 17 third graders.
Our class teachers are supported by a strong in-house mentoring program, collaborative collegial working, ongoing study at faculty meetings, a strong administration, an active care group, and a wonderful contingent of subject teachers in Spanish, Movement, Gardening, and other specialty classes. Parents are also supportive and want to work with faculty in a collaborative way to ensure that the children have healthy experiences and opportunities for growth.
We welcome applicants interested in the whole position or to teach main lesson only or to hold the class during the afternoon while teaching the subject periods that their regular class teacher typical holds.
The Camellia community is a warm and welcoming one with strong heart forces combined with a practical organization. Join us for a while and enjoy the warmth and enthusiasm!
To apply, please send a resume, a letter of intent, a short biography, and three professional references to jobs@camelliawaldorf.org.
