Movement Teacher
Full-Time, Salaried with Benefits

MWS is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Movement teacher, to begin on July 1, 2022. Experienced teachers who have a bachelor's degree and have completed Spacial Dynamics training, or who are interested in pursuing Waldorf certification, are welcome to apply.
The Movement teacher works creatively using the MWS curriculum and pedagogical approach. The teacher works in partnership with the class teacher and parents to serve the needs of the individual students and the class as a whole. Collaborative relationships and a strong peer mentoring program support the teacher in their personal and professional development.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
The ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Excellent communication skills including computer literacy.
Excellent organizational skills including time-management and attention to detail.
Enthusiasm for the community life of the school.

In addition to a base salary of $39,000 benefits include 100% tuition remission, health insurance for the employee and their children, 401K match, relocation assistance and $1,000 in professional development.
