World Language Teacher

The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is hiring a French, Spanish, or other World Language Teacher to begin in January or February 2022. This is a part time position that can be taught by 1 person, or split between 2 candidates.
The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is accepting applications for an enthusiastic and experienced World Language teacher for approximately 18 classes per week in grades 1 through 12. Classes are scheduled Monday through Friday. The position could be split between two teachers depending on the qualifications, experience, and preference of candidates.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has experience teaching World Languages to students in grades 1-12 and training in, or a familiarity with Waldorf Education. We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, caring individual with a strong work ethic, and an ability to work collaboratively with others.

—Background or familiarity with Waldorf education preferred
—Experience in teaching beginner to advanced World Language classes
—Organized, dependable, punctual
—Able to work collaboratively
About WSSS
The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs was founded in 1981 and currently serves approximately 150 children from preschool through grade twelve. WSSS has an Absolute Charter from the New York State Education Department, is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS), and is a full member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA). Our eclectic downtown campus is spread over three historic buildings, two of which are within walking distance of each other in the small city of Saratoga Springs, NY, while our Early Childhood Forest campus is located on forested state park land 2 miles outside of town.
