Parent-Child Teacher New Orleans

Waldorf School of New Orleans seeks a teacher for our Bumblebee Parent-Child Playgroup for the 2021/2022 AND 2022/2023 school year.
Classes provide parents an opportunity to experience and learn about the principles of Waldorf Early Childhood education and how to apply them at home. The teacher will create an atmosphere of warm and supportive companionship in a dedicated classroom at our Uptown Campus. Bumblebee Parent-Child Playgroup rhythm includes creative free play, story time, snack preparation, and outdoor play.
The Parent-Child teacher is also responsible for attending weekly Early Childhood Faculty Meetings and for actively recruiting applicants and spreading the word about Waldorf Education within the New Orleans community before each session.
This is a part-time position (approximately 20 hours/week).
Understanding of Waldorf Education and early childhood teaching experience required; ideal candidate is WECAN-certified.
