2021-22 School Year
Portland Waldorf School is seeking a part-time extended day provider assistant for our
Grades and Early Childhood to begin immediately.
Expected skills include:
1. Abiding by State of Oregon regulations for Childcare Certification including
holding of current Food Handler’s card, Infant and Child First Aid/CPR card and
“Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse” certification; maintaining enrolled
status in Oregon Central Background Registry, which includes a background
check with fingerprinting.
2. Having at least one year experience working with a group of children.
3. Working collaboratively with faculty and staff.
4. Communicating well both verbally and in writing.
5. Being reliable, punctual, well-organized, and efficient.
This position is part-time and non-exempt. Hours are from 3:00-6:00pm Monday –
Friday. Pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Benefits include paid sick time per Oregon Paid Sick
