First Grade Class Teacher
Nov 20 2021 | Highland Hall Waldorf | Northridge, CA (NE Los Angeles)
FIRST GRADE CLASS TEACHER – 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR
Join our collegial team in sunny Northridge! Enjoy beautiful weather, beaches, mountains, the arts, and a variety of sports. There is much to do in this area! Serving children from early childhood to 12th grade, our school is a beautiful 11-acre campus that sits atop a grassy hill in a scenic neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley.
Our students are surrounded by lush grounds and a variety of trees, with ample space for nature walks. We have a garden and farm, a chicken coop, and an orchard where the children learn to cultivate fruits, vegetables, and other plants. Our campus also has a spacious grassy playing field and gymnasium where the students enjoy a variety of physical activities.
Established in 1955, our school was the West Coast’s first Waldorf school and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Waldorf Schools in North America (AWSNA).
We would love to hear from enthusiastic Waldorf Class Teachers interested in joining our dedicated community.
• Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and a Waldorf training certificate (or nearing completion).
Salary range is commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefit package includes medical, dental and vision insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan, life and long term disability insurance. 100% tuition remission is provided for full time faculty children accepted into the school.
Qualified and interested candidates should submit cover letter and resume. Please forward to personnel@highlandhall.org
