Orchard Valley Waldorf School is seeking a full-time first grade class teacher for the 2022/23 school year. The ideal candidate would be an experienced Waldorf Teacher with effective classroom management. All applicants are considered.

Orchard Valley Waldorf School in East Montpelier, Vermont is a small, rural school set on a beautiful 55-acre campus that encompasses, meadows, forests, orchards, garden and is abutted by the Kingsbury Branch of the Winooski River. The school is located 8-miles from Montpelier, Vermont’s capital. It’s a small town with big-city amenities, a lively arts and music scene, great restaurants and an active community life.

The school offers a rich Waldorf curriculum in combined classes with an extra lesson teacher for support. The campus is also home to an early childhood program with chickens, goats and sheep which the children care for.
